PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Your script stays yours.
The GhostLens app runs locally on your Mac. It does not require an account, upload scripts, or use your camera or microphone. Version 1.0 uses registered Command-Option shortcuts without Accessibility or Input Monitoring permission. The older direct-download beta is a separate build.
This website measures privacy-friendly page visits and completed downloads. If you send beta feedback, HumanCTO privately stores your use case, rating, message, optional email, campaign source, and coarse country for up to 12 months to respond and improve GhostLens. Feedback is never published without separate permission.

Updated October 24, 2026. GhostLens is developed by Archith Rapaka, who publishes personal projects as HumanCTO. This policy covers the Mac app and this website.
Data in the Mac app
The app stores scripts, interview cards, pins, speaking settings, and display positions on your Mac. It does not transmit them to the developer or a third party. It has no in-app analytics, advertising, tracking, camera capture, microphone capture, or account system. Opening a support or privacy link opens your browser; the website then handles that visit separately.
Retention, backups, and deletion
Local data stays on your Mac until you replace or delete it. Importing a backup creates a local recovery copy; GhostLens keeps up to five recovery copies. Exported JSON files remain wherever you save them. To remove all app data, quit GhostLens and delete its application-support folder and Backups subfolder. For the sandboxed store app, use Finder's Go to Folder with ~/Library/Containers/com.humancto.GhostLens/Data/Library/Application Support/com.humancto.GhostLens/. The direct-download beta uses ~/Library/Application Support/com.humancto.GhostLens/. Delete exported files separately. Removing the app alone may leave saved data behind.
Website visits and voluntary feedback
This website uses Cloudflare hosting, storage, and aggregate visit/download measurement. Requests pass through Cloudflare, which processes normal connection information to serve and protect the site. The feedback form sends only what you choose to submit, together with the release, campaign source, and coarse country. Feedback is used to answer support requests and improve GhostLens, is not sold or used for advertising, and is not published as a testimonial without separate permission.

Use the feedback and support form below to request help or deletion of feedback you previously submitted. Include enough detail to identify the message and an email if you want a reply. Do not send private scripts or sensitive information. The developer cannot access or remotely delete data stored only on your Mac.
